One of the harder things to do as a business owner is asking for help.

We try to always “have it together” or appear that way at least.

I strive to stay humble and honest, always have and people have came through before.

 

Our Store has now gone 2 weekends and a full week lost in sales not only hurts the store, it also hurts my vendors' sales. Most will owe me rent out of their pocket this month and I always have a hard time with that. 

 

Their rent pays the store's rent, and the small percentage the store gets from them covers its bills. This model works to keep the store packed with radness, but it doesn’t work when unexpected costs come up, it’s a delicate ecosystem that doesn’t have a lot of carry over for issues like this or a move.

Two things have lined up.
That loss of revenue AND a pending move.
You see, my plan was on Feb. 1 to announce the move and to see about getting some help from you all with some of the cost. But then the ice storm happened.

 

 

So now, we are asking for help, any amount of a donation is appreciated! 

 

We also plan to be open 7 days a week all of February to help offset the time we lost.
